Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome...

Well, like I said in my last post, we were on another New York escapade and since I work in the aviation industry I love anything aviation and I like visiting airports and museums. I visited The Old Rhinebeck Museum and was able to catch a few shots of the aircraft there. The Old Rhinebeck has some of the oldest WWI aircraft that are still flying today. It was quite a treat to see these old planes taxing around. It was the weekend of a grand opening they were having but unfortunately I was not able to attend due to time constraints. I was not able to go inside the museum either because they were closed at the time but I was able to walk around the hangers and look at the old aircraft in them. If you are thinking of being in or around the Hudson Valley be sure to visit. They give rides in the airplanes and are very nice there as well.

The Vanderbilt Mansion.

Michelle and I had a wedding to shoot over the weekend in New York and we did a little bit of sight seeing while we where there. We were in the Hudson Valley near Poughkeepsie and there sits one of the Vanderbilt Mansions. The story is quite interesting of how this Mansion came to be but I will spare you it told by me. If your are ever around the area I would truly recommend visiting and taking the tour. I was not allowed to take photos of the inside but was able to take some of the outside.

Paris by Night!

It truly is amazing to see such beauty and history from the top of Montparnasse Tower. I had to make the trip twice for day and night shots but it was well worth it.

Paris by Day!

I went to France a couple of weeks ago for a wedding we were shooting. The wedding actually took place in Parney, a little town outside of Tours, but after the wedding we went to Paris. All my misconceptions of France were answered and they seemed to all be false. The French were not rude but very nice, they did not stink but were quite pleasant. I absolutely loved my stay in France. We toured everywhere and took pictures everywhere and for some reason I really, really enjoyed watching Michelle shop. Here I have a picture of Paris in the day and tomorrow one of Paris at night.

Yesterday was a pretty calm day at the office but I did grab a few shots of a Harley and a Stardust. Here they are.

The Dragon...

I was cruising around with the family in West Palm the other day and called a friend of mine who is a firefighter for PBI(airport). He asked if we wanted to ride on his dragon and I was like, your what? He said come over to the airport so I did. Well you may have seen this beast on the Discovery Channel. We got to ride around the Airport and spray water everywhere as if we were fighting fires. I was worse than my kids. I had a smile from ear to ear the whole time I was there. The Dragon has around 900 horse power and 3000 gallons of water the can be dispersed in 3 minutes, I was impressed.
